contour 96 automayic transmission

after i stop engine my car work only in reverse and no others (D,1,2)
when i place the lever in drive the trasmision doesnt work at all
it might be a sensor somewere near the lever ?
if it is pls tell me were it is

pls. can you tell me how can i test valve body ?
i can replce it without removing the transmission ?
no , there was no sounds i i think (hope) that is nothing broken
the full history :
when i start it worked only in 1 and after i heve stopped the engine it doesnt work at all
