distributor making noises...
does this mean i have to get a new distributor? (currently 164k miles) it makes scratching noises like the rotor is off balance. sometimes the noise is barely noticeable and sometime's it's louder than the motor. the rotor and dist. cap is less than 2 years old. i'm thinking i need to replace a bearing or something. i called honda and they said the bearing is stuck onto the dist. housing.

you should get a new distributor. You are running the risk of it locking on you and if that happens that means more money will be spent. Get yourself a new distributor. It sounds like your bering is about to go out on you. Take it from past experience.
