Unhappy CRX gauge cluster PROBLEM

Hey, i just bought a used UKDM 90-91 crx gauge cluster for my 89 crx. the problem is that, none of the gauges (lights, rpm, mph, etc...) work? anyone got a way to fix this. all the wires from my origional 89 fit perfectly.

it seems like some stuff are on backwards. hit me up. and NO, i will sell or trade this tach. SORRY. it cost me $300 for it.

Re: CRX gauge cluster PROBLEM

Your problem is an easy one. A 90-91 guage cluster can't work in a 88-89 or vis versa. The wires are in completely different locations on the plugs for the two different year slots. You could possibly do a rewiring for the cluster but's a good amount of soldering and placing.

Re: CRX gauge cluster PROBLEM

Yea i made the diagram for it...too bad i don't know where it is anymore. I know I had it on 4thgenerationcivic.com but ami took it off. The rewiring part isn't too bad if you just take your time. Helps if you have both wire harnesses(88-89 and 90-91) then most of the wires will match up, there is only a couple you have to watch out for because there are 2 of the same color.

Re: CRX gauge cluster PROBLEM

How about this. You give me your cluster. And i'll let you have the Si cluster from my 89.
