Most gas you've EVER got in your tank?

Last night, on the way home from Summit Racing in Reno, I ran out of gas. Well, actually, I left from Modesto with a full tank, got to Reno, then came back, and ran out in the middle of stockton. (From Modesto to Reno it's 220 miles) I actually ran out on the freeway doing 75, so I threw it into neutral and was able to coast about a mile, to an exit. Got it off the freeway, and it actually fired back up, so I got to 75 again as fast as I could, and put it back into neutral, got it to coast another mile, to the gas station. Ended up, I drove EXACTLY 400 miles on that tank of gas. The tank held 11.59 gallons.
So, how much have you got in your tank?

Mine usually holds about 9-9.5. Your getting some shitting gas mileage, I usually get about 390 miles on 9 gallons.

On the way back from Bend, OR my odometer read like 399 miles and that is on 205/40/17 (not stock, obviously) tires so idk how many miles that actually is, and I was at like 11.7 gallons.

how bad is your speedo off?

Hell if i know. I know there is some size calculator right now to see how much it is off but im too lazy right now.

so when your driving down the road you dont know how fast your going?

Well I know it is within a few miles per hour of where my speedo is cuz the tire size is different than stock.

acutally man i have a broken tps sensor on my throttle body so it is reading wide open throttle and wont idle down till i get my new one...so i gues 34.5 mpg aint bad being i had a broken TB......

my car goes about 260 miles on the tank - it's probably cuz it's an automatic cuz i know there aren't any mods done to it

what would help my mpg? I probably need someone to clean out my fuel injectors

Just for the record you shouldn't "top off" your tank.

When the pump clicks off, stop.

The extra gas will find it's way into you evaporative system and screw stuff up.
