clear coat/color mix

hey guys, i don't know if its a dumb question to ask but i wanna know if its okay to mix some colors to my clear to get rid of some tiny imperfections. im using acrylic-laquer.thanks.

There are such things as "tinted clears" but you can't just add color to them. If you have imperfections in your clear, sand it down and reclear.

thanks for the reply, but i forgot to say that the tiny imperfections are on my color coat, not on the clear.would that be alright? thanks again.

If there are imperfections in your color then the process is the same only you sand down to the color, repaint, reclear.
