I have an 2001 Yukno SLT. After Make a sudden stop I feel a jerk when I release the brake. What could it be? Should I be worried?

im no mechanic or anything but i have a 2000 yukon slt too and no jerk here but how are your brake pads and rotors...maybe your brake pads need replacing.. other than that i think you should just take it into a mechanic and have them cheak it out...
