B&M Adjustable fuel pressure regulator ASAP!!!

I need to know asap if anybody here has used a B&M adjustable fuel pressure regulator into their car and been able to turn it DOWN.

Im getting 50 psi of pressure and I believe on my car (6 bolt in a 2g) it should be like 33psi...

car is almost undrivable atm cause of this and the only thing a shop here has is the B&M but everything ive seen says it only gives more gas if your car is running lean.

soo... has anybody ACTUALLY used one to turn fuel pressure DOWN:????

Re: B&M Adjustable fuel pressure regulator ASAP!!!

"NOTE - make sure you get the right kind of AFPR. The B&M CommandFlo is not what you want. It is basically parts you add to your stock FPR to modify it for higher fuel pressures, it does not let you lower them, as it still has the same stock restrictive outlet hole. You want a Paxton, SX or similar "rcing" AFPR with really large outlets. However, make sure you buy an EFI AFPR, as they do have ones for carbureted cars that have an adjustment range of about 2-15psi - you need an EFI AFPR with an adjustment range of 25-60 or so psi." -Tom Stangl, VFAQ.

I'd get an aeromotive or SX. There are lots more, like buschur.

You may have the right one, as SBR sells a B&M, which means there is at least one that works. I don't know how much about it though.

B&M = only up

Bushur/SX/Aeromotive/FullThrottleSpeed = actually useful

Re: B&M Adjustable fuel pressure regulator ASAP!!!

Summit is the best source for the aeromotive/paxton/SX regulators. ~130 bucks, and always in stock, unlike most DSM vendors. I use summit whenever possible, I'm doing a complete aeromitive fuel system from the fuel cell to the motor and back, all from summit.
