Civic 96
Umm i am planning to swap a 99si engine into my 96 Civic hatchback do you guys think this is a good swap?If not what would be a better swap?

it's good if you want to have si power. the gsr engine has more torque and 10 more horsepower but it's about 1500 more in cost. you can turbocharge the b16 so that's good. and there are a girp of parts for that motor.

Definitley go with the B16A2. Like liquid said, there are alot of parts out for it. IMO i dont think the GSR is worth the $1500 more, 10 more hp and .2 liters more. They make a DRAG III turbo kit for the B16A2 also. That might help you down the road.
