Re: Let's Get Something Started

Once I get the Greddy TT up and running (today), I'm going to venture where only a few have: standalone ecu. Once I get that figured out (if ever ), it's off to install my rods, pistons, & head studs. Anything else requires the winning lotto numbers

sounds good to me. are you doing all the labor and what not yourself? are you the only one with the greddy TT kit on this forum that you know of? get some personal times and specs on here as soon as you get that thing moving. i think we all would be interested

Re: Let's Get Something Started

That's an impressive list If TT or the stroker kit seem obtainable, I'd target those two first. If I had to do it all over again, I may have done the stroker kit first, then TT in a few years, but hey, you can't argue with 350-400whp.

Re: Let's Get Something Started

you definately cant argue with that..my main problem is that the only thing that is impressive about my car...is the list of future plans...all i got now is an intake...i got a long way to go

It doesn't take long . . . I've accomplished all my customizations in about a year . . . and a little more debt

Re: Let's Get Something Started

If you actually go through with the standalone ECU go for the AEM 'cause it's supposed to be easily programmable

And my wishlist
Actually get a 350Z
nismo cold air intake
nismo crankshaft
nismo forged pistons
nismo swaybars
C-west body kit
C-west CF wing
Top Secret Coilovers (circuit with electronic control)
Top Secret 8 piston calipers (front) 4 (back) cross drilled and slotted 14 inch rotors
Brembo brake pads
Steel Braided brake lines
Top Secret Titanium headers
10% black window tint
Either Greddy TT or make my own with HKS turbo's
Stillen (?) cat back exhaust (is straight through without the large mufflery thing)
nismo Limited Slip Differential Clutch
AEM standalone Engine Management Unit
Bridgestone Z type tires
Blitz 1000cc injectors
Nismo strut tower bars
Veilside 100mm Inlet Manifold
Turbo timer
HKS Blow-off valves
Port and Polish headers
Blueprint engine block
Volks racing wheels (don't know which ones though )

As you can see I have a lot of time on my hands

Re: Let's Get Something Started

I've heard that AEM doesn't have any intention to do one for the "foreseeable future." Someone is already working on the HKS F Con, so I'm letting him work out the bugs

Re: Let's Get Something Started

I got the Camp on it's fun to play with nothing special but it is fun at least for now. What i was wondering is if anyone has put a different flywheel on their Z and if so is it something i can do myself or should i get a shop to do it. (called the dealership out of curiousity and they wanted $885 to put it on. needless to say i didn't make an apointment)
