525 low rpm on shift
Car is 2003 525 with 5 speed manual transmission. When moving slow in traffic, with RPM about 1500, disengaging the clutch results in the RPMs going down to 400 to 500 RPM temporarily. This only happens for about 1 second, but the car "shudders" and feels like the engine may stop. I'm taking it to the dealer this week but am afraid I'll get the "this is normal for this car" line.

I'll have to pay careful attention to the next one I service but it may be "normal" due to the 'delay valve' [a restrictor fitting] in-line to the clutch slave cylinder installed to 'reduce loads on the drivetrain'.
