oil pressure idiot gauge
I have a 1993 diesel, and I don't like how the oil pressure gauge is really just a glorified idiot light that just stays in one spot. Is there a different pressure sensor I could get to make it work right?

It is an idiot gauge, all Ford oil presure "gauges" have been since the late '80s.
You can bypass the 20ohm resistor in the gauge, and install a "normal" oil pressure sender to make it into a real gauge.
