Re: need help with install ?'s

With 3 SVC subs you could get a 1.33 ohm load, which would be about 830 watts, or in kenwood language, about 500. Why going with 3 subs anyway?

if you already bought the amp, it will work fine, since this is powering subs its not that big of a deal, when it comes to class D watts are watts IMO, i bet that amp puts out somewhere near rated power, and with 3 subs, it will get very loud, so i wouldn't worry about buying another amp.......

i'd say go with 3 12's, when it comes to 3 subs, you will get great lowend, and great sq, and the 12's will probly be less expensive....

for all three? well your not going to get 3 great woofers for 400... DDaudio's DD1012 would be great for that price...129.00 each...since your amp is rated down to 1ohm stable (even though i doubt it is) 4 DD1010's would sound a lil louder and maybe even a lil crisper....you'd get a lil more power via the lower impeadence...and you would only be sacrificing 20in^2....i dunno maybe a 1dB increase an just a tad more precice bass....its really up to you....i personally would go with the 3 12's but im just throwing another option out there...also JL W0 12's arent too expinsive but they also couldnt handle the power...the DD's are 300RMS and music and 1200peak so over powering isnt an issure...with that amp about the only thing you could do to theos three woofers is clip it so bad you have an almost square wave and even then it would take a while before the voice coild would burn because in my experence thoes DD's would probably handle 400RMS and 700-900 music...

damn!!!! well looks like you're lookin to drop some big bucks on this.....so how about 3 IDMAX's, or 3 OZ audio matrix elite's, these subs are pretty similar with the advantage going to the idmax's, but you're gonna pay more for the idmax's, it will still be way under your budget, you can get them new for under 300 i think.......or if you went with the oz audio me's it would be slightly cheaper

both would be great choices

you would be suprised with the quality you can get with that amount of money, way better than jensen.....

Re: need help with install ?'s

buy a pair of supersubs (xxx, brahma, idmax, etc) and another kenwood amp, or sell the amp you have and buy a bigger one to drive a pair of subs
