Info on GSR Sleeved block for Turbo
hello...
I am looking to rebuilt my GSR next summer so I am starting to do my research. My WHP goal is 450 to 600. I am looking for a sleeved block right now. How do I want to have my block sleeved in terms of bore size, if it should be bone and hone, and if should be line bore? I am planning on getting Golden Eagle sleeves. Thanks for the advice |

i dont know if golden eagle still has that problem with needing to line bore with there sleeves. i would recommend going with benson or rs machine sleeves, if you go with benson you could have earl build your block too, i think he quoted 3000 for sleeves, cp pistons (the best pistons out there), eagle rods, blah blah all assmebled.
the biggest bore that is recommended is 84mm, but i would put the bore to 83mm which will leave you some leeway if you ever melt your pistons, but you get more power with the 84mm bore, its up to you. also the more you bore the weaker the sleeves get |
