short shifter

discuss (for my learning) the benefits of short shift kits in AutoX and other forms of motorsport, and how much they improve feel/performance

All a short shifter does is decrease the throw of the shifter ... less distances for the shifter to travel should equal fater shifts.

though.... in an average autoX you might shift... twice...
