bad news

i got in my car the other day for school and start it up ....everything sounds fine, but when i throw it in gear, the car doesn't move. I had no problems with my trans. until then and i'm now looking at a $2100 charge to have it rebuilt from a trans. shop. They pretty much condemed it when they saw the thrushwater (?sp). Either way this is a no win situation. i'll lose money no matter what i do with it.

Have a little faith, I got 186k before the input speed sensor got really annoying. I was told everything else looked fine in there. Just don't let Jiffy Lube and their 3000 psi ATF power washer in there

Re: bad news

i live in Evansville IN. the car however is already in the shop. i just want it back and to not have any more expensive problems with it. i don't think i could rebuild a transmission so i had no other choice but to give it to a shop.
