Blower will not shut off
1994 Bonneville SSEi. The blower motor will not shut off, even with the car turned off, locked and keys in pocket. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks.

It sounds like your Blower Control Module is faulty. Not much you can do except replace it. It's a dealer only part and exceeds $125 if you order it from www.gmpartsdirect.com. I got one from a junkyard for like $25. They are easy to change. It's located under the maxifuse center under the hood.

Blower won't shut off
Hi,
I too have the blower problem, but with my 90 sse. Is the module in the same place? Can the Triac or whatever runs it be replaced on the board? (I'm assuming that it is electronic like the control.) Help would be appreciated! |

Yes, it is in the same place on the 90 but you don't have a Maxifuse center in your car. It's even easier to get at than the 92-99 body style. I did not see any way to open the housing to get at the electronics so it is not servicable. Here's the one from my 93

To all interested:
The blower module is AC Delco part no. 15-72530, and by going to acdelco.com and finding "what car does this fit?", there are 157 combinations of years and models that use the module. Lots of chances to find used? BTY mr. randman1 I thank you for the great info on the location and picture. It removed all confusion. |

My pleasure. Thanks for posting the info on the Delco web site and part number. This may help others.
