Passing Gear link
I have a '77 silverado that had the tranny ruined by my son from running it with no fluid.I pulled it and bought a used 350 turbo automatic to replace it.When it was taken out of the donor truck they broke the lower housing on the kickdown cable,no problem, bought a new one.My problem is they bent the wire link inside the trans. The cable hang's up in one spot when you work it by hand.Is this link hard to repair myself and/or will it hurt to run it without the cable hooked to my throttle linkage.
