Camaro exhaust on bonneville?

Hello everybody,
I recently wanted to upgrade my exhaust system (really just the muffler) on my 92 bonneville, no supercharger. I want it to sound as close to a V8 as possible without sounding stupid. so I came across a used 96-97 Camaro SS muffler and was wondering if it would sound good on my car or not and if performance would be increased. Any advice on this muffler or something else that is affordable and sounds really nice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any replies.

Re: Camaro exhaust on bonneville?

Use the Flowmaster with dual outlets like the SSEI

Personally I am not really a fan of flowmaster, too much droning, at least on the Corvettes/Z28's. By the way which series of flowmaster and how does it sound? never heard one on a bonneville. Any other suggestions, like maybe magnaflow? never heard those on a bonneville either, they sound really nice on a z28 though. If anyone knows anything about these I would really appreciate it, also about the ss exhaust, what would it sound like. Thanks a lot to any replies.
