|
my oil gauge just arraived and i need help installing it. the only question i have is, where do i tap into for gauge to work. if possible, pictures would greatly help.

The oil filter screws onto the filter housing. On that housing there are two senders stock. The front (radiator) one is for the idiot light. The rear (firewall) one is for the stock guage. The stock guage will be less useful with the new guage, and the idiot light is still helpful, so I would put it in the rear location. It will also point the hard tubing towards the firewall for you. Be sure to secure that line away from the crank pulley and other moving parts, a break in that line will cost you a motor.

Good luck. And nice move getting a real oil pressure guage, very good to have. That and boost are all I use
