T25 Manifold Question
I was told it was possible to take a T25 manifold and weld a T3 flange to it allowing me to use a T3/T4 turbo. In doing my research I found out the flange is only $23.00 so would it be worth taking my T25 manifold and converting it or is there a big difference between the F-Max and my idea?

with the bluebird (t-25) manifold there is a clearance problem with the block with any turbo larger than a t25. You need the gtir manifold to clear the block for a t28,t3,t3/t4 turbo.
You need to shave the block down to use the bluebird manifold with anything larger than the t25. You are much better off going twith the gtir manifold which will take the t28 and t25 turbo stock. It's flange can also be changed to use the larger turbos. |
