d15b v-tec swap
Hey, I wanted a b18c1 for my 95 civic but it's too much money for me since i'm only 15 so i wanted to go for a d15b v-tec. Does anyone know if i need any kind of wiring for the v-tec. Also, does anyone have any specs. I think i saw 130 hp but i'm not sure.

Re: d15b v-tec swap
Yes you'll need to run wiring for vtec. I believe this link should work (but I'm not positive if it's the same wiring for the d15b as for the d16z6): http://www.hondaswap.com/~pills/obd1guide.html
And I've seen the motor listed as having anywhere from 127-130hp, I tend to believe hmotorsonline listing of 130hp (but maybe I'm just a sucka). |
