91 caprice alternator
can someone tell me how to take off and replace an alternator for a 91 caprice please? or maybe direct me to a site that can help?

Disconnect battery. Regardless of engine size, you should have a serpentine belt system. Locate the belt tesioner. Release the belt tensioner with a ratchet in a clockwise motion. Slip the belt off while holding belt tensioner. Disconnect wiring to the alternator. Remove the mounting bolts for the alternator. Reverse the procedure for installation.
To help out during installation of the belt, these models have a decal on the rad shroud that shows belt routing.
