Camaro SS

DAMN the wheels were hard, and I couldn't quite get the rear wheel right.
Once again I went with the rough look.

Re: Camaro SS

Nice drawing. I guess I know how you can you correct the rear wheel.
1. The thing is that dew to a geometric perspective, rear elipse is slightly compressed.
2. And second elipse of your rim, must be a little further. Virtually hiding distant edge of the wheel, where rubber is.

By the way, just noticed, the wheel arcs.... you can make the rear more rounded, so it rotates a little, seems it's getting out of the surface. And the front one, reduce (closest edge), because it's too open (imho).

I hope this will help you someway. In general I like your drawing and the "wheel problem" is mine as well.

Re: Camaro SS

Looks pretty good to me, the proportions are great except for the wheel, I think you made it to wide. You should darken your shading. Shading is a good but sketchy, specially the windsheild. Overall it is a good drawing.

Re: Camaro SS

well, everyone's already talked about the rear wheel.

overall, sketch is nice. you nailed the front wheel. just do it again on the back. maybe next time strive for glass reflections. but this is fine for this drawing. keep it and move on.

Re: Camaro SS

Nice sketch!! I think if you kept the black tones clean and the rest sketchy it would look much better.

Re: Camaro SS

I'm sure these could come out a little better if I knew anything about paper and pencils I just used a #2 pencil and a sketchbook I found. Anyone have a brand/type of pencil they recommend?
