car trouble

hi, im having car trouble, i was woundering if any one could diagnos it. when ever you get to about 40-45 mph, and then u slow down to a stop, it stalls, it did that for a while, then just died on me. any one have any ideas?

Sounds like a GM car with a bad torque converter clutch solenoid. If so the cure may be easy, may be a little difficult

Did I guess the car correctly???

Could be a bad or misadjusted throttle position sensor, or idle air control valve.

It COULD be almost anything. That's a very common symptom. If it's a newer car, I'd have the ECU checked for any error codes.

could be the fuel filter, could be your cars idle is set a bit low ?

wat kind of car is it how old is it?

BINGO- See my earlier post. Unplug the thing to test it. If it drives normal then leave it unplugged. Good Luck.
