Need more in my 0 - 40...

Own a '95 740i, one heavy mother if ever there was one....4200 lbs. Realistically, will the intake/exhaust/chip fix add to my throttle significantly? Any other 7-ers out there who have done this?

Did you ever hear of differential ratio changes ?

The best pop for the dollar is a higher ratio differential.

You will lose 10% off the max speed and 10% higher fuel usage.

You will gain more smiles per mile.

Cost should be less than $500 and no other changes will provide that.

Later,

you can 'feel' a diiference with 'upgraded' DME & AGS chips but the kick in the seat vs. the kick in the wallet is a toss-up. 'Kc Ron Carter's though about the final drive is a guarranteed boot [at the forementioned losses] but I'm don't know how you'd get it done for $500.00.
