Revell Civic progress thread

I got this kit about 2 and a half weeks ago and made some pretty good progress on it.

The carbon decal is from the sheet included from the kit for the hood. I'll also be making tailights from this decal. The intake is Alcald II chrome, the valve cover is Tamiya acrylic with the carbon decal, the block and intake manifold is MM Aluminum Metalizer, and the headers are Tamiya acrylic black.

This is the only part of the body in which I made some actual modifications. I used Evergreen .20 styrene and Tamiya Basic Putty.

This is the rear bumper included in the kit. Saved me alot of time because I was going to do this style of rear bumper.

This is the interior so far. Painted Tamiya acrylic black. The seats will be Bride Zeta II.

Heres the engine compartment. Painted Tamiya acrylic red and I brush painted the wires with Tamiya acrylic black.

I'll keep you guys updated on more of my mods.

You need to resize your own pictures. Moderators don't have acces where you upload your pictures.

It's coming along great. I'm wondering if I should cut out the grill section and replace it with the mesh uncluded with the kit for the optional bumper. What do you guys think?

Haven't updated in a while. The body is almost done polishing. I had to strip the original paint job so that's why you guys haven't seen much. All I need is to install the dash and steering wheel assembly, door panels, and rims and brakes and this project will be complete. I'll get some pics up by tomorrow or something.
