Do you tell?
Hey guys I just was wanted to know do you tell your insurance company about any modifications to the engine that you do? Like for instance a person buys a Heffner performance 1200 HP beast does he just tell his insurance it's a regular viper? I'm sure a lot of people do. If you got into an accident you pay for any modifications that needs to be replaced. What do you think?

Re: Do you tell?
if you neglect to mention that your car is not standard when you insure it, in the event of an accident your insurance is void.
you need to insure the car AS IT IS. my mum had to tell her insurance company when she had different wheels fitted to her TT (even though they were Audi wheels) and for future refrence, there is a section for questions relating to insurance etc..
