I'm looking in to building a custom frame for a 57 Chevy that I'm doing can any one point me towards a tutorial or give some slight direction on how to build one?

Re: help with custom frame

What type of cutom frame?
I recently used the back half of the AMT 66 Pro Street Nova combined with the front half of the AMT 67 Impala, came our pretty nice if I do say so myself.

I'm going for the old lead sled look with it so I want it to be for lack of a better word "slammed".

most of the lowering was accomplished by chanelling the frame

Re: help with custom frame

No, I did mine a bit different and actually took that roof from a 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman kit. It was already chopped so I just took the whole roof.
One suggestion is to use gap filling CA to glue it back together, its very strong and won't shrink or anything.
Post pics of your progress
