haha funny story... kind of..
Someone was telling me they had a plan to get a CRX with a t23 turbo and a zc dohc to run 30 lbs of boost.... and get over 600 hp to the wheels.

I think it could be possable, hell visit any major sport compact race circuit and you will see similar stuff making well over 1000whp.

although the "T rating" doesnt directly mean size, it is related. the T4 family is bigger than the T3 family, etc. a turbo smaller than a .42/.48 T3 would not push 30psi, 30psi would take all of 8,000 rpm to spool, and with that small of a turbo, inneficiency comes quick and 600hp is a only a dream. it takes more than "psi" to make power. |
