Re: turbo

the turbo on front wheel drive cars is positioned at the front. The exhaust housing is the smaller section of the turbocharger and is connected to the exhaust manifold aka header, extractor There is also an pipe which runs out of this smaller exhaust housing, this is the exhaust sytem and runs underneath the chasis. The larger compressor housing has a airfilter with intake pipe which runs directly into the housing and there is also a pipe which runs out the side of the compressor housing and into a front mounted intercooler. the best way to figure out how to connect a 1/24 scale turbo is to find 1/1 reference pics.

Re: turbo

step 1: Go buy revell diecast Eclipse GSX

step 2: Take all chrome engine parts from Revell kit

step 3: Put it on the AMT Engine block

How a turbo works.

That will explain to you pretty much all you need to know about turbos - where it attaches, what's going on and whatnot. Hope this helps.

Man, you picked a bad kit to learn about turbos or even engines in general. I'm sure the designers of that kit are asking the same question you are.
