Wheels and Deals
Im looking into getting some rims for my car ('01 GXE) i dont want flashy, but i do want sporty, like 15"-17". I checked on Ebay and couldent find any good looking ones that fit my car. If someones has some advice on where to buy and what kind it would help. Please keep in mind im on a lower budget. Thanks

Define your budget for one...how much are you willing to spend on a tire/wheel combo?
The cheapest would be like 500 for both tires and rims and that's mostly for used aftermarket/ OEM rims (from the spec v or other cars with the same bolt pattern and similar offset) ...500-800 is about how much it will cost for a decent set of new rims Then you have to think about how much you want to spend on tires...because the size affects the price and how sticky they are affects the price in two ways (higher initial cost and they need to be replaced more)...so you're looking at anywhere from about 90-160 depending on the size, width, brand and type of tires you get... tires.com and tirerack.com are excellent places to check out rims and tires...both (I believe) offer a section where you can see what the rims will look like fitted on your car. so a rough estimate: 500-1000 rims 400-600 tires (mounted and balanced) ------------- ~1000-1500 total
