Unhappy A little bit concerned...

Hey All, I have a small concern with my new friend, my 1994 Mitsubishi FTO. After cold, when the car has warmed up, it seems to run rich and idle very rough when it is driven over a certain rev range (bout 4.5k rpm). The problem fixes itself after a minute or so, but is this a common problem that can be easily fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Re: A little bit concerned...

It sounds like a stepper motor problem.
Removale and a good clean often helps or if not a replacement from www.kempys.co.nz/fto.htm
or www.japco.co.uk
