88 Cultass Cierra trans problem?; slow accel
The car is an '88 Cierra, 4 cylinder, auto tranny, with TRUE 16,100 miles. Owned by family since new. Garaged.
PROBLEM: Shortly after starting to drive it (minutes), the car is slow to gain speed. The engine will rev up normally when given gas, but there is SLOW gain in speed. It is like you moderately have your foot on the brake. It will shift gears, but still hardly gains speed. There are no fluids leaking; the tranny fluid level is good and is clean. Engine is smooth running. HELP !!!!!!!!! PLEASE REPLY!!!!!
