Wow, what a nightmare.
This kind of poor service is all too common with some performance shops I have come across. I had a similar, but much less severe experince with a shop in Toronto. A shop assembled my engine incorrectly and one pistion seized in its bore after about 750 miles. It also had a massive oil leak from the rear main seal. They refused to honour theor warranty, refused to admit there was a problem. I had to disassemble the engine myself and fix the problems. Also I found main bearings full of machining debris as they had not cleaned the block properly.
