1995 astro - heat/ac problems

Have a 95 astro. have some problems with my heating and ac.
the blower went and i replaced it but now don't have high setting (blower) . Also noticed that i can't get the blend/defrost/floor setting to work! the only thing that works is vent. So i have ice cold air or hot air coming only from the vents and no high control ! Please help

i'm kinda thinking it's a vacuum problem but couldn't guess past that!

I have an 87 that had similar fan problems. turned out to be the fan relay that sits just above the fan housing under the hood. Also check the connector that it plugs into. Some of the connectors get hot and melt the plastic just enough to not make a good connection.
