Pop ups

Can anybody tell me why all of a sudden this forum has a whack of pop up advertisments? It has become so annoying I hesitate to visit here.

Re: Pop ups

I've been on this forum since May and only in the last couple of weeks has it been a problem.

Re: Pop ups

Do you have a pop up blocker installed? If yes, which one?

Re: Pop ups

I use Mozilla for my browser. Free and is excellent at blocking all that garbage.

Youve probalby got some kind of third party adware on your computer. I hate that crap. I get those on my computer all the time and always have to dig around to find out where they are and delete them. It gets to be a pain sometimes.

Re: Pop ups

Well they seem to have stopped as quickly as they started. I think Kooterskkar was right, I ran a check and found a couple of adware issues. They only worked on this site, I always thought they would work no matter where you surfed. Shows, even at my old age you can still learn something new every day....So thanks people, I can now enjoy this site again!! pop up free
