Anyone built up a D15/D16 like pistons, port and polish?
I was planning on replacing my D15B2 with the JDM D15B. Then I talked to a guy that knows a lot about cars etc, he said that I could take the motor I have, he could port and polish it, get better pistons, bigger fuel injectors, and make more horsepower than swapping the engine, and also have stronger internals.
Has anyone ever built up a D15/D16? Is it really worth it? |

bigger injectors arnt going to give you more power, they will make you run really rich and waiste gas. ported and polished d16 with high compresion pistons would probly make 15 more hp.

Well not all porting and polishing is not allways the same so it varys alot. As for differnces, *usually* jdm has differnt cam(s) pistions, and maby a few other things. maby someone else will answer with the specifics.
