I've got a dome light that doesn't seem to want to turn off when I close the door.
The switch isn't in the 'on' position, it's definitely in the door-controlled position. My door sensors are working just fine, as I can arm my factory alarm when they're closed, but get the three-honk 'You're an idiot' notification if I try to arm it with either door open. If I put it in the middle position (door controlled) and go for a drive it still stays on. Is this thing just on an extraordinarily long timer? How long can I expect it to stay on after I close the door and arm the alarm? I'd try to just leave it as-is and go to bed for the night if the thing didn't have such a small battery.

push in on the door while it is closed and see if it will go out or at least blink off. I had to put a spacer between the door and the switch to get my light to stay off...

just open the door and push on the shitch that opens the circut to make the light go off. if it still doesn't go off, you got an electrical problem. Mine cuts on when i take corners real hard.....talk about body flex.
