retainers with valve springs?

hey whats up guys. im about to purchase a set of crower valve springs for my LS and i was wondering, is it really necessary for me to get the upgraded valve retainers as well? can i just use the stock ones? cuz the retainers are kinda pricey, around $160, and im a pooooor folk

yea its good to replace the retainers cuz the stock ones may be pretty worn and if your gonna do a good build up its best to go the whole 9 yards
