'98 or '99 Yukon

I am looking to purchase a used Yukon or Tahoe that I can put a lift kit and 35" tires on. I read an article in one of the off-road magazines about the '99 and newer Tahoes having an IFS, so I assume that the '98 Yukon does not have an IFS. Is that correct? I was wondering if anyone in the forum could give me some pointers as to the differences in these two model years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
