Diablosport Tuner Help

I bought a Diablosport tuner for my 2000 GT last week and have been playing around with different options. There are 2 basic choices the default performance tune and a performance tune where I can modify the timing and fuel curves for various rpm ranges.

The default tune is easy and the there is a definate increase in rwhp. Modifying the default tune is where I could use some help. I heard adjusting the timing up 3 degrees is a better tune than the default. I gave that a shot and it feels like it added a few exta ponies. I haven't touched the fuel curves because if done wrong that could damage the engine. Ideally I may want to take my car in to adjust on a dyno to maximize. Has anyone had experience with Diablo and what tuning options maximize performance on a 2000 GT?

Diablo will build a custom tune specific for all mods but it costs another $120 (something I did not know when I bought it... ).
