Project D and so on.. confused!
yay k.. so i finished watching the whole series of initial D ( 1-26 + extra stage + the movie ) and like.. wtf is project D and other things..? plz explain

Project D is a special team led by Ryosuke Takahashi of the Redsuns. It's his plan for beating everyone in the area. The team drivers are his younger brother Keisuke and Takumi.

Keisuke runs the uphill battles while Takumi runs the downhill runs. Project D, annouces thier battles and posts thier victories on a website that other people use to challenge the team....
Also Kenta is on it too as a Keisuke cheerleader, and I've seen Hiro (the MR2 driver who does all the annoucing for the Redsuns there)
