Window lost power...I need help.

I've got a 94 S-10 blazer and my drivers side front window has quit working. The switch wont work any of the other windows either (4 door) so I assumed it was the switch. I got a replacement switch. That didn't fix it then I tried one out of another blazer that I know will work. Didn't work in mine. I've checked all the fuses, all the connections I can find, I'm stumped. Anybody got any ideals??

im no mechanic, first things first...but from talking with different shops and reading some of the posts on this forum, it seems that the window motors in blazers (maybe more chevy/gm models from similar years too...???) go bad pretty frequently. i have a '92 s-10 tahoe edition and my front passenger doesnt work at all, my front driver's will go up/down appx. 1 inch every 5 minutes...chiltons has some description on fixing this, looks like a nightmare. hope i was of some help, good luck!

Re: Window lost power

Thanks for being the brave one and reponding first maybe you'll inspire more people but it doesn't seem like its the motor. The switch I'm talking about is the one on the drivers door that can control all the other windows in the vehicle. The rest of the windows work off their individual switch but not from the master switch on the drivers door. I'm thinking that no power is getting to the switch. I'm gonna yank the door panel off first chance I get and try to run the motor straight off the battery with some test leads. I bought this blazer just to have something to drive to work, hunting, mudding and stuff so I could save my baby (02 EDGE) but so far its been one headache after another.
