help me replace the IAT sensor
My CEL has been on for a while and when I took it to Autozone they said that the problem is my IAT sensor, so being the daring person that I am, I ordered one (11.99+tax). Now, knowing only how to change the oil and spark plugs, put gas in, and start the car, I have a problem. I have absolutely zero idea where the IAT sensor is, how to remove it, or how to put this new one in. Heck, I don't even know what the thing looks like. Any help I could get from a "Sentra professional" would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, it is a 2001 SE, which might be helpful info. Please be kind, I am a message board virgin. Maybe you could also tell me what it does... |

Re: Re: help me replace the IAT sensor
in my 2001, in was the front right, right atthe start of the air intake tube. i think it will depend on what year your car is, but it should be very close to where your car takes in air.
it is connected to a wire, it is hard to see. i just kind of started pulling on things i didn't think i could break and one of them turned out to be correct. good luck hunting. shoe |
