Hi, First time here.

Hi, guys. This is my first post here. I have a 96 DX auto. Two Problems:

(1) Whenever i step on the gas (especially at lower gear), i can hear some kind of rattling. When i take my foot off, the noise is gone.

(2) Just recently, when i make a turn, i can hear rattling or ticking which sounds like coming from behind the left AC vent.

Any idea what are the problems? Thanks.

Sounds like your drive axle. You might need to replace it.

Well, you might also need to check out the tie rod as well. Might be off or needs replacement.

When you check out the drive axle, also check out the tie rod and control arm. Replace whatever is deemed necessary, then get an alignment.

Re: Hi, First time here.

A mechanics told me the tires failed inspection. I will get the tire changed tomorrow. And see if that will fix the problem.
