Rockford Speaker Any Good??

I have a chance of buying some Fosgate speakers and tweeters for inside my Civic for real cheap from Best Buy hook-up. Anybody have any experience with these speakers? Not the subs, just the 6X9 and panel speakers. Thanx

i personally heard them and didn't like them that much... i know best buy sells pioneer and RF speakers.. what else do they have to offer?

i guess rockford is ur best bet... maybe they have sony comps i never heard of those..listen to them

Uhhhhh Rockford better then Cerwin Vega? Bullshit...

Why dont you take your little ears down to best buy and try out the 6x9's they have... and listen to them all and YOU decide what your ears like.

whoops.. i never heard many cerwin vegas.. the only problem with them is i had one pair a long time ago... it was a 5.25 2 way speaker.. the woofer would actually hit to wires that are going to the tweeter.. which made it sound bad.. and i had no way of distinguishing the sound quality.. i had to return them asap.

i've never heard 6x9 CW and i've only heard RF comps... i have a set of rf 6x9 which i never put in... cuz i might just have no rear speakers

hey i go4bmx how are the type-r subs doing? i was looking at getting a 10 and what infinity speakers do you have and how do you like them?

the type r subs are doing great... once i had only run running with the bd1000a1 from rf and it slammed... then i ran two with rf 800a2 a/b amp and that was nice but my alternator could not handle the amp juice...now with the lanzar.. slamming again.. the sound q is great. i have no qualms about the bass quality... i just don't like rf subs cuz i was soo close to getting them before i heard them.. i thought they were distorting... but the salesman told me thats how they sound...

i have infinity reference line comps.. they are alright.. the midbass is lacking like most of their comps... and the tweeter is a bit harsh.. i don't know what material the tweets are made of...but i heard people upgrade their x overs to kappa ones and fix this harsh tweet problem..

icky... i have the kappa comps, and i know what u mean by shitty midbass. tweeters sound really good though! i replaced the woofers with polk ex's and i think it sounds better now, the polks have good midbass then the kappa crossovers and tweeters are real good!

i've got shitty highs and midbass so i'm gonna buy another set when i have the loot..
