Anyone with trans temp guage on Rodeo?
Just curious what temps you are running with the stock radiator cooling under normal and perhaps not so normal driving conditions.

Re: Anyone with trans temp guage on Rodeo?
My coolant temperature gauge reads about 1/3 of the way up regardless of how I drive it or how warm it is outside. I don't have a trailer hitch so I'm not stressing anything very much.
There is no transmission temperature gauge that I'm aware of, just the idiot light. Hope this helps, Dale |

Sorry to say, but I thought your reply was a bit harsh. 95.5 Rodeo was just aiming to give a bit of info, seeing as no one had responded to your post. For me, I would love to have someone install a transmission temp gauge, as my beast does tow a 4K# boat; mainly on flat-land. But, I have to be honest, I totally baby this truck and have never driven it into a harsh level of output. And, at 124K miles with not a single tranny issue, I guess I've figured that regular flushes/maintenance has been good enough. That's not to say it hasn't seen miles and miles of harsh dirt roads, and 3rd gear/power mode hauling the boat from Tennessee back to Colorado. So, I'm sure there "have" been times where it really needed to be watched.
