O2 sensor questions
Okay, I did search about this but want to get it right...
I've been getting the ocassional sputter sometimes and I'm getting a code 1 (blink pause blink pause etc.) Note: CEL bulb removed. I've been meaning to change the O2 sensor and I will very soon, but I want to know if... 1) Is a $17 Bosch unit (just the sensor) any good? 2) Most people with this problem are running rich, but my A/F guage reads toward the Lean side when my car starts sputtering. Will it cause this to happen as well since the O2 sensor is sending signals to the ECU to make the car run properly? 3) Will cleaning my air filter really matter? 4) Is my car just tempermental since it runs good 50-75% of the time? Any substantial replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Turtle

Re: O2 sensor questions
bosch makes good quality parts, cleaning the air filter wont do didly fuck, if its tempermential its becuase something is faulty.
I got to replace my o2 sensor also, was running a grand am GT other day (yay I beat a V6), and my check engine light came on and was flashing a code 1.

Re: O2 sensor questions
Sounds like the o2 sensor. Get that changed. Bosch o2 is pretty good. Most ppl goes with them. Or you can buy one at the honda dealer if you want oem.
