I'm pretty sure the mani will bolt up, but you have to use the 92up throtle body too I believe.

Re: d15b2/93 cx intake manifold?

92-95 CX is exactly the same as 88-91 CRX HF. so basically, you can use the intake manifold and throttle body, but it wont provide much perfromance gain since the assembly is so small in size compared to d16a6/d16z6/d15b7/d16y8/etc.

Re: d15b2/93 cx intake manifold?

the mpfi from the cx isnt all that great. it is mpfi so its an upgrade, but i would really consider wheather you really want to do the work to not get all that much gain in performance. i mean its an economy mpfi afterall.

Re: d15b2/93 cx intake manifold?

the wiring is whats important. If you have MPFI, you can easily swap any engine into your car.

If you keep the OBD0 ECU, wh ich you will also need, you need to have OBD0 injectors and MPFI distributor as well to make it work.

Re: d15b2/93 cx intake manifold?

Um well you need it and im 95% positive that the dpfi iacv wont work. Youll need to go to a local junkyard and swipe it. lol. I believe that any d-series one will work!

Re: d15b2/93 cx intake manifold?

plug the holes where the EACV used to be with JBweld or silicone and wire in a 10w 10ohm resister in the plug. you wont have a cold idle, but the car will run with no CEL. Im sure you could do the same for the IAT.

Or you could just find the parts you need and use them :P
