Ferrari F2004

Hi all,

Just for your information. I emailled Studio 27 and they informed me that the 1/20th Ferrari F2004 will be released roughly around August/September.

Re: Ferrari F2004

I really wish Tamiya would make some more Ferrari F1 cars for us tifosi. Studio 27 kits are nice but all that money for a curbside kit is just simply not worth it. For the money one can buy a kit and SMS superdetail kit.

As a Tifosi, and a die-hard fan of Schumi, I have Studio27's Sauber C11, F310, F300, F2002, F2003-GA, B194. It is very likely the B191, F399, and F2004 will join in the family. But then, I lost my money spend on the Porsche Carrera GT, and Lambo. I want F2004, I want F2004 from Tamiya, I want Full-detail F2004 from Tamiya. I really cannot afford to buy so many resin kit from Studio27.

Ditto TireGaint, I am a die hard Schumy fan, but I think we will have to turn to S27 as the only resort. I suppose that we are lucky to have the F310B, F2000 & F2001 from Tamiya.

In my Schumy collection, I have:

1/24th:
Mercedes 190 Evo II DTM (x2) - Fujimi w/ S27 & Museum Collection decals
Sauber C11 - S27
Ferrari 360 Challenge - Tamiya
Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari Racing Days - Tamiya

1/20th:
Jordan 191 - Tamiya
Benetton B191 - S27
Benetton B192 - Tamiya
Benetton B193 - Tamiya (B192 conversion)
Benetton B194 - S27
Benetton B195 - Academy
Ferrari F310 - BBR
Ferrari F310B - Tamiya
Ferrari F300 - BBR
Ferrari F2000 - Tamiya
Ferrari F2001 - Tamiya
Ferrari F2002 - (on order)
Ferrari F2003-GA - S27

I'd love to add the F399 to the collection, but that has been deleted by S27. I may have to scratch build unless I can locate a supplier with one.

You're all glory supporters . How can you like a man who cheated his way to the 94 championship and tried it again in 97 on Villeneuve and endangering people's lives, what he did was dangerous in Adelaide 94, he almost flipped his own car and destroyed Hill's suspension which could've led to a nasty accident.

As for Studio 27 I agree that for a curbside kit they are very expensive and I'm sure if they marketed their kits more with better packaging they would be able to produce more kits and pass on a cheaper price through economies of scale.

Re: Ferrari F2004

In 94 Schumacher got the raw end of the stick plenty of times. He still won. The Damon Hill thing was just the heat of battle. Championship on the line and he wanted it more. I personally am a Schumi fan because he is such a quick driver. In all of motorsports there is no domination like that of Schumacher and Ferrari. I personally like that.

BTW The italian in my blood helps me in being a Ferrari fan! Although those Minardis are a different story...

There has been much debate over the Schumacher/Hill/Villeneuve incidents over the years, but it is either best discussed on an F1 forum or just left as history! I personally am a Schumy fan as he is just an exceptional driver. You don't become 6 times World Champ for nothing! You can argue that his car is the best on the grid, well fair enough, but just cast your minds back to '96 when he managed to win 3 races in a car that was of mid-field quality. Barcelona '96 was one of his greatest achievements in my mind.
